I hired a second team member!

Until now, PLV Music has always been a two-women show: me and my amazing video editor, Lucero.

But as the business grows, I’ve hit a wall.

Client emails. Invoicing. Scheduling content. Updating the website…

All these little backend tasks are eating up my music-making time - and honestly, my energy too.

So last week, I made a big move:

👉 I hired a Digital Business Manager.

Think of it as a Virtual Assistant on steroids!

Her role will be to:

• Optimize - Systemize and automate the workflow of the backend tasks of the business
• Support - Help with daily tasks such as customer support or scheduling content on social media
• Project Management - Making sure that we are on track for all client deliveries
• Team Management - Manage and hire more team members as we grow the music business

With all these tasks out of my hands, I will have more time to solely focus on the creative and strategic work such as making music, filming videos or coaching my students 🤗

Right now, I’m in the “dip” (you know, investing time + money with no ROI yet), but I’m trusting the process.

Because if this works, it could free up at least 10 hours of my week — and that’s huge!!

I’ll keep you posted on how it goes but if you're building your own music business too, I hope this gives you some ideas on how to grow smart and avoid burnout.

If you are interested in outsourcing tasks, here are some questions to ask yourself:

• Which tasks in your music business can you automate first?
• Which tasks of your music business drains energy from you?
• What tasks doesn't directly bring back ROI?

Everything that you listed above should be done by someone else, not you!

Your zone of genius is making music and making videos for online visibility - not invoicing clients, tracking payments and designing thumbnails.

Outsource these other tasks as soon as you can! 🙂
