How I make a full-time income from my music 💸

Reader, when I started making music, the goal was just to make a track that sounded professional.

Monetizing? Yes, it was always in the back of my mind - but felt like a distant dream.

I used to imagine that unless I gathered 1 million followers or my song went viral, I’d always be hustling on the side, dreaming about that “one day.”

But everything changed when I realized this:

And because a lot of you have been asking, today, I want to pull back the curtain to show you the results.

Here's how I currently make a full-time income as a music creator:

• Brand Deals – $5,000/month
  ​This is where top music brand such as Waves, Focusrite or LANDR pay me to feature or mention their gear, plugins, or services in my videos because my audience is the audience they try to reach. In 90% of those videos, I have to make music to feature their products or services. Sometimes, they even hire me to make videos for their social media or websites/ads! It's called UGC.
  ​
• Digital Products – $3,333/month
  ​These are things like ebooks, templates, or Notion planners I created once and now sell on autopilot. You could add preset and sample packs, vocals, guitar packs, mixing chains, wrappers etc.
  ​
• MusiCreator – $1,865/month​
  This is my online course where I teach aspiring music creators how to monetize their music online, step by step, using the same techniques and strategies I used to build my own music business online.
  ​
• Mentorship/Coaching Sessions – $500/month​
  Some people want hands-on help, so I offer 1:1 sessions to guide them through building their brand and offers or even giving feedback on their tracks.
  ​
• Music Services – $200/month
  Occasional mixing, mastering, or custom production work. I don’t promote this heavily as I prefer making music for myself or for brands projects, but it’s still fun here and there! This is where I would add the sample packs I am currently making for LANDR but because I haven't finished the full project yet, I haven't been paid yet, haha!
  ​
• Affiliation – $360/month​
  When someone buys a plugin, service, or software through my links, I get a commission. This isn't much but always a good addition!
  ​
• YouTube AdSense – $400/month​
  Not a huge number contrary to popular beliefs, but it grows the more content I make and I believe it'll be a great source later down the road. This one is a long term game!!

TOTAL: ~$11,658/month

(P.S. Some of you could argue that not all of these income sources are directly related to music but this is not the topic of this email. If you want to hear my opinion about it, you can watch this video.)

Now, am I saying you should copy this exact model?

Absolutely not!

But I believe in transparency - that you deserve to see by yourself what I claim to achieve in my videos 👀

Now I want you to remember one thing: It didn’t happen overnight.

Most importantly, none of it required a record deal, a huge following, or even paid ads.

It came from building skills, being consistent, and offering real value to people who needed what I had (or knew).
